1. I am a stay at home mom of 3! Hannah 9; Gracie 5 and Hayden 8 1/2 months My life is blessed and full of insanity :) LOL

Shane's 30th Birthday

We celebrated Shane's 3Oth birthday at home watching wrestling just the 5 of us...BTW he is still watching and so are the kids LOL! I fixed chicken fingers and rotel dip and chips and we ate his yummy birthday cake that our awesome friend Allison made him.....She is so precious and He was so grateful and touched that she took the time not only to bake it but to decorate it with everything he loves! on the top it has guitar hero,wwe,softball for those funny church softball days, clemson, carolina panthers of course :) LOL a macbook and cell phone and a small little shane : ) then on the sides she made little versions of me, the kids and our animals :) sooo precious :) he loved so much he almost didn't want to mess it up, but I made him and it was SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD YUMMY :) thank you allison so much! you are a precious friend :)

My Week in review

*started reading the shack...I am so slow, but i have 3 kids sooo that is all i am sayin LOL bout that, but it is so good and I am loving it..I had a hard time with it at first just because i pictured one of my girls as Mack's(the main character's) daughter...I do that when i don't have an imagine sooooo i was really not liking the book at first! But i pressed through and I am so glad i did!

*Found facebook this week...Thought i had deleted it! WOW i was still there and so cool...I have found a lot of high school and old college friends on there...and family too! Love being able to connect to old friends and family i never see....

*Looking forward to celebrating my man's 30th birthday sunday...He will officially join the getting old crowd! LOL

*My girls FINALLY got to play outside yesterday afternoon....they were so excited to get out of the house...I have made them stay in because it has been freezing here!

*Loves shane's office it is bad to the bone! I am so excited for him and proud of him...I thank God so much for Rp Field services :) Again you can't out give God :) you can't no matter what :) Thank you Jesus :) The office is soo cool and finally got finished this week and they got moved in!

*I have enjoyed cooking almost every meal at home this week! LOVE THAT :) and enjoyed having family time :)I love seeing shane in father mode....He is so amazing...Away from work and people and just beautiful family time...I enjoy seeing him play and laugh with our gorgeous babies it just makes my heart melt!

*I have decided that I am gonna learn to bake pies from scratch got this idea from "Waitress" LOL but seriously i am really wanting to do this for my kids sake too! I also sing that song from the movie all of the time! My first pie will be strawberry :) MY FAVORITE :)...and i am going to take a cooking class just for fun :) anyone wanna join me :)! Also gonna take up yoga! I need a good stretch every day!

*I had a blast dueling shane on the 1984 version of mario on the wii last night he kicked my butt, then i came back in bowling and kicked his :) LOL i haven't laughed so hard in a long time :)

*Loving my swiffer sweeper, i am addicted LOL...it is the best thing for a stay at home mommy

*made Hannah her first orthodontist appointment :( she is gonna have braces soon...she will look like a teenager :(

*Bought Hayden his first suit! LOL ok not your typical suit but it is something shane would wear...Washed out black jeans,cool tshirt and sports coat...I can't wait to put it on him next week for pictures :)

Goodbye President Bush :(

Today I watched one of my favorite shows "The View" and found myself getting super emotional when they showed video of Elizabeth Hasselback visiting with President Bush...I know that many don't like him and don't agree with all of his actions and I have even found myself giggling at this man during many of his speechs and interviews. After a conversation about President Bush with a friend of mine I got to thinking about the fact that we don't know what information he had handed to him during certain situations and we don't know all that he faced caring such a burden as this country on his shoulders......We think we do, but honestly none of us know what he was facing and what he dealt with behind closed doors as the Commander in Chief and really we shouldn't judge him number one because as Christains we aren't suppose to and Number too we have now idea what is it is like to be president and walk in his shoes......I am probably one of the 10 Bush supporters in the whole world and I actually know the other 9 LOL, but I really don't care who knows it...I am thankful for him as our president and for keeping us safe since 9:11 and protecting us! I am sad to see him go but proud that He served us for 8 years and was proud to call him my president....

So Tomorrow for a few will be sad, but it is also very exciting not only in politics but in the history books because we are making history.....I pray for my president and respect him as that and I feel honored to live in this day where Martin Luther King Jr's Dream has come to pass :). and the chance to be able to experience this day to come! So this is a Bittersweet time for me as i am sure the other 10 feel the same way :), but I am so very proud to be An American :).....

My weekend

*Had fun friday with Allison and her boys....They came over and we hung out..Shane,Popee, Me and the girls went to see Mall Cop!
LOL it was hilarious.
*Saturday us stone's did our usual brunch but went to ihop...YUMMY...then i ran into target for the formula..I buy target brand it is only 14 bucks for the huge can i also picked up the most awesome cleaning tool ever especially for a home with lots of wood floors...Swiffer Sweeper...I had heard from several people that it was awesome sooooo I had to get one and I LOVE IT! Saturday night was so much fun...we hung out at the brevards house...Those guys are so fun!OH yeah gracie Lost her 5th tooth and is working on her sixth!
*Today was really good to...Loved the Huge snow flakes this morning, my kind of snow...the non stick kind :)...Enjoyed shane's awesome message and then we headed to the mexican restaurant our sunday stop i guess LOL.... no one else wanted to come...guess they don't like mexican or either we stink? not sure probably the later LOL!!! Did a cool birthday party this afternoon with hayden and gracie then came home and just hung out and chilled...Hayden and Gracie have been playing and making me giggle while shane and hannah have been running all over town :) having daddy/daughter time....I am so glad he is spending time with our big girl :)! Watched the movie "Wizard" Ok so this is an oldie..1989 well come to think of it that isn't that long ago to me but, one of my favorite actors fred savage is in it :) loved the "wonder years" btw :) hehehehe if you don't know him or that show you would know his brother ben savage from boy meets world..Anyway...did some laundry, fed hayden 10 ounces of food plus eight ounces of juice, but he has only had 2 bottles of milk today so the food is naturally increasing WHAT? that kid is a bottomless pit!
I look forward to putting the kids to bed, watching desperate housewives and going nite nite...i am sleepy :)

Keeping the Right Perspective

The Painting: By Candace Stone

Ok so I wrote this a while back and wanted to put it on my blog because I feel like there are many women out there that put themselves down or feel inadequate in their roles as women, wife's, mothers and so on....We see ourselves so negatively as women sometimes and we don't really see the truth about ourselves...This came to me after a conversation with my real mom and it stirred me to look at myself inside and out and be pleased with what God has made me to be and work on bringing myself back to the woman God intended me to be :)

I came up on this amazing antique furniture piece at a beautiful and quaint store in Ashville, N.C...At this amazing store I found an antique shelf there housed with what was one of the most beautiful paintings I had ever seen. It was of a girl about my age early thirties..I love to look at art and analyze the pieces and figure out what is going on with those folks who allow themselves to be painted....I looked deep into the eyes of this lovely girl and saw so much pain and a slight sense of emptiness, but noticed the delicate lines around her eyes that had obviously come from more than one or two hard laughs she had experienced in her young life. Lines that directed me to the understanding that she has known joy, but has lost it somewhere down the road....The wrinkles on her forehead perfectly aliened filled me in on her shock she had experienced in life and possible fear. I noticed that her cheeks were down instead of puffy and alive and that what looked like a person who had once had a sweet disposition actually had changed into a hard, cold and indifferent Girl....I stepped back from the painting to analyze other characteristics of this piece of art and noticed this young girl with her hands clasped as if she were ringing them in worry and her shoulders were hunched over to hide what could be beautiful breasts and a gorgeous body; that she apparently found disgusting and decided the whole world felt the same ...All of this showed; to me that she was in fact insecure and didn't trust anyone ......Her clothes oddly enough were neatly pressed as to say "I am cleaned up and put together." Her feet were adorned in sandals, but left her feet open to show how harsh, rough and worn they have becoming over the years....Obviously from what seemed to be a long and tiring Journey that made her weary in her sweetness....

I looked up back into the face of this gorgeous girl and said to her "you are TOO beautiful to be sad and Cold....I see bitterness in your heart and I don't even know your name"....I wanted to reach into this painting and help her to see how beautiful she was and how even though the experiences of the past have haunted her and made her indifferent that if she would just look at her beautiful face and find joy in the children at the bottom of the painting and the man standing behind her...Embrace her curvy body and hold her shoulders back and show off what God has blessed her with...Then she would know and see that she was beautifully and wonderfully made and that it's okay to have a journey and find yourself broken on the inside; which will only push you to let go of the outside, but that you can allow God to Weld the pieces back together, put it on the fire, cool it off and it will be just like new again, even better! By this time i was really hoping i could just pull this girl out of this painting and scream these things to her...Suddenly the sales clerk called me and i turned away from this painting briefly only to see a totally different picture when I turned back...I stood and wept as I looked into this painting again because it wasn't a painting but it was me looking into my own reflection!!!

Thanks for the LIttle and Big things

you never really appreciate something or someone until they are gone or it doesn't work :) LOL...I am very appreciative of the blessing that God has given me and I have always felt blessed by God...He is so good...Last night my washer was acting crazy....WELL I as the operator probably had something do with it :) LOL i have a tendency to be add and not focused on my task at hand and WELL i put the detergent in the rinse area! That made for a ton of bubbles, but for a second i was worried that my washing machine might be broke and it left me to think about what it would take to do ALL the laundry I do for 5 people without my wonderful washing machine! I guess what I am trying to say is a lot of times I tend to take things for granted......I am a very thankful person, but even i find myself caught up in my day to day life and forget to think about what blessing surround me!

*My husband who works hard day and night, but finds the time to be an amazing father and wonderful husband!

*Meme and Popee they are so precious to me and we couldn't be where we are and who we are if it weren't for them...

* My car although very dirty and gross :) I have 3 kids come on :) it is reliable and awesome! It purrs like a kitten LOL

* Our Home it is new to us, but it is warm and cozy and beautiful and what God blessed us with..What he gives us is better than anything we could pick for ourselves!

*Hannah and Gracie's Schools and their Teachers...I love them and appreciate all that they do to teach my children......I enjoyed spending time with them today!

*My girls activities and the chance to allow them to do extra things like horseback riding, ballet-tap class, piano lessons...

Understanding your influence



- God has placed great value significance, and importance on the inside of every one of us.

Thinking About Some Pretty Special People in the Stone's Life Today

*I want to give a HUGE shout out to Lori for watching my kids last night! Shane was moving his office furniture and boxes over to RP Field Services official office site and I had a scheduled dinner with my sweet friend Allison! Lori I owe you big time...Lots of Lunches and I see a gift card in your future :)! Wanted to say thank you to Shannon who helped Shane move stuff after a long days work. He was so kind to help shane and I appreciate him tons! I am so thankful for Lori and Shannon!!! I love you guys :)....You are amazing friends!

*Enjoyed My lovely dinner and fun waffle house time with my dear friend Allison! We have been dear and best friends for a very long time...We have struggled through rough patches over the past few months, but true and precious friends can make it through anything that comes there way if they have God's Love in their hearts and a special call on their friendship :)....I believe the storms are just going to make us better :) !!! I love you my sweet friend/ sister and look forward to being those Old Golden Girls at Bi Lo one day :) LOL!!!!!!

* Found out my precious friend Andrea (whom I have known since I was a little girl) is moving to Germany because her Husband is being stationed there with the Air Force......I pray for the chance to see her soon and Hope that she isn't over there too long....Andrea has been a Military Wife for almost 10 years..She has had all 3 of her children while Jason served in Iraq and has spent months and years away from her man....He served twice in Iraq...Once in Korea...I am proud of her dedication to him and to our country as a 'True' Military wife....I will miss her, but plan to send her letters by the planes :) LOL!

*Been Missing Paige :) her sweet messages have made me miss her staying with me and our long talks, our trips to target LOL and lunches out...I especially miss her being there for me at one of my ob doc visits...One i am sure she will never forget!!! I MISS YOU PAIGE :( tear tear :( LOL! But I know you and Jason are in God's will and Following His plan...Jason is a good man, ANNOYING and Drove me nuts LOL (ROLLING MY EYES) HEHEHEHEHE, but he is in fact a Godly man and I am so happy for you both and feel like you are family :) I mean you all did kind of room with us so i guess that is what did it :) LOL I love you!

Stone Weekend!

This weekend was amazing...We got to hang out with our friends The Cox's they are also family btw here is a pic of Pastor Jimmie and Pastor Shane :) Playing Guitar Hero :) This was so funny watching them duel...

Saturday we headed to Union to drop off the kids and hurry to the panthers playoff game against Arizona! This is what Hannah and Hayden Looked Like in the car on the way to their grandparents house...Gracie was laughing at hannah almost the whole way there! she got shane and I tickled by moving hannah's mouth and acting like hannah was singing

The Game was so fun....Shane got us Club Level seats....We enjoyed the band in the Club Lounge and the food was so good and not expensive like eveyone said it was actually reasonable :)! I loved watching the pre game stuff



It was so cool to watch our panthers run out on the field...It was SOOOO LOUD! And I loved hearing Darius Rucker Sing the National Anthem :)

Today was so much fun too...WE had church, Loved SHane's message...Then He and I headed to lunch and a movie...WE saw...Grand Torino...SOOOO GOOD Classic Clint Eastwood! I laughed, cried and fell in love with Clint :) It is a great movie!

Having a Good Day

Today Has been Good so far....

*Rather Busy..Been going since the girls got up for school...
*Excited about our friends coming over tonight...I love love love them :)
*REALLY excited about the panthers game tomorrow even though we might get rained on OH WELL :) still gonna be so much fun and I can't wait to experience the nfl game with shane ;) His first!!!!
*Got a lot on my mind with church stuff...Trying to be a more supportive wife....I am NOT your typical pastor's wife and NEVER want to be but I love my husband and his calling and more than that I love God and serving Him....Praying the Serving bug would spread at Ridge Pointe! We could ALL do better at that!
* Looking Forward To Chick Pointe and my Mary Kay party...I want a few more things myself :)
*Thinking about my Friend Allison today "you have been on my mind" Praying for you and your mom!
* Realized I have to have Lunch date with Lori :) she thinks I hate her :) LOL
* Looking forward to starting a bible study with a my friend Kristy! I have some ideas girl so brace yourself :) the whirlwind Candy is back :)
* Thankful for Joel Osteen and God speaking to me through a sermon of his this week! I love when God shows up and speaks to our hearts like that even if he has to use Joel Osteen :)
*Going to start reading the SHACK and maybe start up a book club :) LOL hopefully....I am waiting on one of my friends Nicole to get the book hurry up girl!!!! :)
*Decided that Life is too short to build walls around my heart....Thank you shane for encouraging me :)
*Thinking about ??? doing weight watchers... I have 20 lbs to lose before hayden's birthday and well I need some extra help this time with my weight loss :) still undecided....I miss my elliptical...I worked out everyday...Going to get a treadmill soon!

Mary Kay Party :)

OMG i can't believe i am going to say this on my blog, but here goes....I so totally need to lose some lbs and our friend Jaime got me thinking about this a little more in detail! So Hayden will be 8 months old on Jan 7th 2009 and I would have lost 47lbs since i had him almost all of the weight the I had gained with him, but i have 20 lbs to lose or that i would LOVE to lose before Hayden's birthday which is May 7th....SO here goes..... i am not really going for the dying look just the Healthy HOT MAMA look :)...

SO I have 4 months to lose this weight :) 20 lbs :) I can so do it :) I KNOW it I did it before 2 years ago and kept it off till I got pregnant with Hayden so after losing this weight I will be good and Hopefully NEVER get pregnant again!!!! EVER NEVER :) LOL

So I start Tomorrow :) LOL HEHEHHE and I will keep you all posted weekly on my weight loss and if you don't here from me then well i am seriously not doing a good job and losing and will never post again on here LOL! ok so that is that :)

Happy New Year

Had a great New Year's Eve...Went out with my Lil family...Went to target to get the blue ray Eagle Eye movie then ate at Red Lobster....Headed home watched the movie into the new year so fun...Hayden jumped in is Jumperoo into 2009 LOL and the girls did their sparklers or "SPRINKLERS" as gracie called them, well Gracie didn't like it so we stopped LOL plus BRRRRR it was cold on our back deck :)!

We were in the mood to just stay home and be a family and celebrate together....I hate staying out late anyway especially with my Little ones! There is nothing like being in your pj's and have 5 people on a couch watching a movie and eating popcorn ahhh relaxing :)....

This morning was great...I made brunch...pancakes with fresh fruit on top blackberries, blueberries and rasberries YUMMY with sauage and eggs AHHH it was so good and we watched a little football....

Shane also got some amazing club level tickets for the nfl playoffs carolina game in Charlotte a week from saturday!!! i can't tell you how excited HE is "WE" are :) to be going!!!! This is his birthday present :) early and i get to enjoy it too WHOO HOOO so happy new year to us right :)?!?!

Made beef stew and mashed potatoes for dinner...YUMMY...now i am off to finish the new year day with the kids watching "horton hears a who" then trying the sparklers again :)
