Jesus Promised Me A Home
I was listening t0 this song by Jennifer Hudson...WOW....See I was raised on this kind of music and it speaks to my heart and soul...It is pretty awesome
Ya know as a Christ Follower I forget about my home over there....No more worries, no more fears or hurt no more tears....I was thinking about my papaw and how God turned his life around, he was an old drunk sinner who played his fiddle half drunk in the local bars of Monroe GA, God turned his life around and sent him out to preach about Jesus and His saving power...I thought about how when he used to live with my family and I remember him praying and the many many times he would talk about going home to be with Jesus...When he finally passed away, I could almost here my sweet Cherokee Indian papaw shouting and singing on the streets of Glory...
You know...Heaven is for me too and you if you are a Christ follower...not just for the saints before us and the pawpaw's and maw maw...Not for my little brother's and sisters that i never got to meet...No just for them, but for me...
I think of all the beautiful little children who has gone on to be with Jesus whose little bodies suffered or those babies who were aborted, the papaws and ma maws who were so frail they couldn't get out of their wheel chair...They aren't hurting anymore...
I can't wait...I can't wait to stand before my sweet Jesus and sing praises to Him with Him right in front of me! I can't wait to feel no pain, hurt, sorrow, sickness, weariness...NO MORE...OH what a blessed Hope we Have in Jesus :)! I wouldn't want to live one day without Him in my life..
So I go to bed tonight thinking of my sweet papaw and giggling at the thought of his dance on the streets of gold...

The Weary "calling out to God" Pastor's Wife Prayer :)
What is written below is my prayer to God in a Storm I am facing Inwardly. I call it the "quitting storm"
Jesus you said, "Don't be weary in your well doing", but I find it so easy sometimes to be super weary. There is NO doubt in my mind that Ridge Pointe is Your thing...I have seen You take nothing and make something out of it and I have seen more people's lives changed in the past couple of years than in my entire life...and here is the BUT...
I am just plain tired Lord, This "Overwhelming Calling".has got me down...First and foremost my calling to God..Yes it is so rewarding, but so hard and sometimes i just wish I could step out of it and just take a seat as a normal (LOL) church goer, give as little in the offering as i possibly can ( if i feel like it) comes to church "if" i feel like it...Takes a break from church when I feel Like it... I would love to get to be the one who doesnt have to here the complaints and riducule and the super annoying excuses that people give us pastors wives and you (ROLLING MY EYES) uggg i could soo seriously do without that and I am so sure you could too...Or I would love to be the one that hasn't felt a financial pinch because of all that has been giving for this cause we so fervently believe in....I would not care what people thought of me, or of my family and my truth would be understood and not misrepresented. I am tired of being afraid of hurting someone's feelings and making them mad because they might leave the church or saying something i might not have said a the right time...I am tired of getting blessed by you Lord and not enjoying your blessing and left feeling like people might say "well that pastor is doing good he doen't need any tithe to come in he can carry a house and nice cars then he can carry and entire church......I am tired of defending my role in my home as a stay at home mother to my children and my help mate to my pastor...I wanna know that is what you have called me too and stand in that and ROCK it out of the park!
God Root out my hurt and bitterness, take away my fear of the known and unknown, purge my heart and ease my mind...Help me to have a holy heart after you and to stand in the midst of my pain and anger and uncertainty of this Calling in to your ministry as a Women of God, A Pastor's Wife and As a Beautiful mother to My 3 amazing children and to realize the YOU are in control....Help me to remember even in my state of complete dismay that
I am a beautiful, strong and passionate women who Loves her Lord more than her very breath...I would sacrifice my life for the cause of My Sweet Jesus, But my soul is delicate and fragile which has transformed me into this tired and beat down soul how wants to crawl up in a nice big fluffy bed, pull the covers over my head and say good night Ridge Pointe Church GOOD NIGHT to all the churches before ridge pointe and good night to a sad but painful past......

AHHHH I am SOOO TIRED but SOOOO thankful

3. God's Loving me even though I don't deserve it...His Grace is in fact enough
4. Sweet Friends OH and I am sooooo proud of my friend april who won tickets to see toby mac....You GO GIRL :)

Just Hit Ousier
Well, I am ill...What's new right :) LOL....I have no real reason, but just feel like punching something...Where is Ousier (My Favorite Character from Steel Magnolias) when you need her... LOL I actually enjoyed my day yesterday even though i have been stopped up and sneezing...I hung out with Hayden and ate warm soup...Watched a couple of shows..It was nice and relaxing...I guess i need to get out today...I kinda sorta have to anyway....I need some dishwasher detergent, papertowels and stage 2 baby food....Gonna try hayden on it...He is almost six months old ya know ;)....Hard to believe....I normally don't stop and do nothing for a cold i keep going :) and going and going, but I didn't have the girls here and shane worked down at the church till 7 last night soooooo i just enjoyed my alone time with Hayden! I must say i miss my girls...I also think that i am ill because they aren't here....I know it sounds silly but it feels like my world is off when they are not at home as they should be...It is one thing to have all 3 gone and another to have two gone with one here or one gone with two here...it is off balance :) I am crazy....
So i am gonna go read a little devotion and pray and get myself straight before i find myself in a not so happy place :)!!!! No reason just one of "THOSE" days!

My Day So Far
It has been super quite around here without my little girls, but Hayden has enjoyed my 100 percent attention...He has been so congested the past few days and snotty. Sneezing and breathing with a rattle and hoarseness in his little voice. Thank goodness he is feeling better, but I have felt pretty crappy today! I must say it has been nice just hanging around the house doing nothing much. I played with Hayden for the longest time. He is so adorable with his little laugh and toothy that shines through his precious smile. I love that sweet boy so much, ahhhh...He takes his mama's breath away :).
I ate some yummy soup warm on my throat and watched the view and a little oprah...LOVED el divo singing "amazing grace' it brought a tear to my eye....making some cheesy chicken and rice in the crock pot for me and shane to eat tonight. Looking forward to it :) YUMMY
Just going to chill for the rest of the afternoon and evening...Hopefully I will start feeling better...UGGG i feel achey and snotty yucky blah blah blah!

Early Morning Blog Before the Rooster Crows :) LOL seriously!
I haven't really Blogged the past few weeks more thankful blogs then actually blogging, but i decided to this morning...
Church is amazing right now and home groups are blowing my mind how awesome they are and they are actually working ;)....I look forward in going every week to ours...Shane and I have been so discouraged lately about some stuff with the church, but as usual God showed up and continues to do so....I know He has called us to this church and this ministry of reaching the unchurched and to hear the testimonies of what God is doing in others lives is amazing....some get it and some don't....but it is still all worth it at the end of the day...I am so excited about the music and the kids pointe and looking forward to what God is doing in these areas too....
My kids are growing like little weeds...
Hannah is 9 and in 4th Grade...She thinks she is a Horse riding champ and she is right...I am looking at putting her in the shows at tryon, but it is very expensive and time consuming so i am prayerful thinking on this journey for hannah...She is also taking Piano classes...She has a recital in early December and I have never seen her so excited...on top of her activities she has a million hours of homework and projects have begun UGGGGG...yay me...,BUT she is doing well in school and LOVEs it....I am very proud of her..I have to take her to the orthodontist in the next little while for a consult for braces...not looking forward to that, but Hannah is :)....
Gracie is 5 and in K4...she loves school and is the line leader everyday when i pick her up...She amazes me with her leadership skills...she turns around and tells all the children to get in line and be quite :) LOL HEHEHEHE Kind of like she does hannah and hayden :)...Gracie loves school and talks for hours about it everyday when she comes home...she takes ballet and tap and wants to be a dancer when she grows up :)...She is driving me crazy about wanting to take horseback as well....so i have to face this fact sooner or later....I must let her try, but still...I can't have two kids in it..phew...my heart can't take it.....she is also wanting to cheer in the inman youth association...we have some serious choices to make in the next little bit! :)
Hayden is almost 6 months old and I find that hard to believe...It just seems like yesterday i was pregnant with him...He is growing like a little weed and doing new things everyday...He is for sure more laid back then Hannah and Grace both...He has such a sweet personality already and Loves everyone he meets! He has one tooth in already and another one pushing it's way through which makes him a little ill...I love having a boy...He is so cute and adorable in his spider man p.j.s LOL He is also super big...he is over 20lbs and 27 1/2 inches long..BIG BOY...he is rolling over, eating solids and trying to scoot when on his belly...no crawling yet but he tries..it is gonna be so cute to see his little fat self try to crawl LOL....
Shane and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary...It doesn't even seem like it is even possible that 10 years have passed...WOW...we are still looking at going to L.A., but i am having trouble deciding for various reasons AKA hay hay :)
we have to decide by friday because we have to get the tickets...We are also prayerfully approaching some decisions that would affect our family personally in a huge way...nothing with church promise LOL heehhehehe...I love shane now more today than i did yesterday :) and the day before...I am so thankful and blessed to have a man such as he in my life :)....
I am 30 now and i guess I am okay with that, but still wondering how it happened and where the time has gone or where my 2o's have gone rather LOL...I am on a weight loss journey again LOL...I have lost almost all of my baby weight but now i am working on my weight i had gained prior to hay hay :) and those 10 to 15 lbs suck i must say!!! it hasn't been that hard to lose the pregnancy weight this time, but those lbs from before are being stubborn :) I am done having babies...I love the 3 i have but do not wish for more :) LOL i am in much thought about heading back to school and doing something in the medical field trying to explore my options there...I am also on a get healthy path HEHEHEHE i figured turning 30 is a good time to get healthy...I went to 2 doctors and had a ton of blood work done which all came back great...i have a couple of issues i am dealing with that i have discovered after my doctor's visits and some crazy female issues since i have had hayden, but i am not worried because i know God is in control and I am going to the doctor to keep a watch!

A very nice washer and dryer....I did 4 loads of laundry...washed,folded and put away :) i am must say...Love my awesome washer and dryer!
Food Lion! LOVE Food Lion in Inman...I love this place simply because i can pick up my oldest from school and go straight to a brand new, clean, cheap grocery store right down the road from my house!!! LOVE IT!
Hannah and Her love for horseback riding...She is amazing every week but today especially...she rode a different horse who tested her, but Hannah stood her ground and took control!!!
Home group and how i truly enjoy getting together with the Rogers family, Williams, Yates, Crookes and talking about God :) so cool to see all the men get involved with the conversation!!! LOVE home group!! thank you rogers family for opening your amazingly beautiful home every week...I am also thrilled about all the cool stuff and exciting news from the other groups...so neat...and what a great turn out!

I've Got the World on a string
LOL I love that song...I walked 2 1/2 miles this morning at the walking track...Went alone...I missed my buddies, but it was good to go and walk in the fresh air and clear my mind while also listening to michael buble' LOL!!! AHHH love him! :) HEHEHEHE
Hayden is staying with meme for a couple of nights and the girls are at school so my mornings are pretty quite...I miss Hayden but i know it is good for him and for meme and popee...
I am planning to go with my shaney to Los Angeles for his business trip for the company!! We are going to be celebrating our 10th anniversary too while we are out there...I guess kill two birds with two stones LOL...I am excited but very nervous at the same time! I have NEVER flown so not looking forward to that, but it doesn't matter where we celebrate I am just so in love with my shane and looking forward to sharing our 10th anniversary together...
Trying to take advantage of Hayden being gone and get stuff planned out, spend some quality time with my girls and clean out some stuff i have been needing to clean out!
I might even throw in a trip to starbucks :) LOL

My Hayden Is 5 month old today
Hayden Colt Turns 5 months old today!!! It is really hard for me to believe to be honest...He has cut his first tooth and is such a big boy!!! I have lost all but 10 lbs of my baby weight so I working on the 10 lbs now! LOL but I am really proud that in 5 months i was able to lose all but 10 lb....I never was able to do that with the girls!!!!
Hayden is Growing so fast and it is so sad because he is the baby :( no more babies after him! Gonna take care of that in the next few weeks LOL!
anyway today after one of his morning bottles he took a cat nap in my arms and this is the pic i got! SO precious!!! I tried to take a picture of his tooth but it didn't turn out so great!

4. Fall...I LOVE FALL!!! i guess having my birthday on the first day of fall might have something to do with it!
5. myspace....I have seen people's life changed because of an invitation to church on myspace and I am still seeing people coming to RPC even after a year and half because of myspace....i deleted my frist account but still seeing the affect from before....WOW!!! Myspace Is HUGE!!!! NO God is HUGE and uses silly things like myspace to reach people for him!! there got it right :) LOL

Michael Buble'
I know you all have been biting your nails to see my pictures from this amazing concert! First off...Shane is the most amazing husband! I love him so much!!! He got two awesome tickets on the 2nd row from the stage to see Michael Buble in Concert for my 30th Birthday! HAPPY STINKIN BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! :) LOL!!! The show was amazing, but i have to say I knew the seats were close, but when we got there and realized how close I cried and started hyperventilating LOL!!!! It was an amazing night...What I would call a SUPER date!!! It was romantic and i think i kissed shane a million times during the concert LOL!!!! SHane knows I have loved Michael ever since his first album in 2003 AHHH! I have an old soul and love the big band music and the singers and standers songs that is my style...I love old movies and old music and Michael does the old stuff better than any other in this day and age...Rod stewart came close, But Michael beats out the bunch!!!!
It was an amazing night I got to touch Michael's hand twice LOL and see him up close and personal :) HEHEHEHE I can't say enough thank you to shane for an amazing gift! Thank you baby!!! To top off the amazing night a couple in front of us on the front row got engaged...It was so sweet, I cried so hard! We got to take their picture and be apart of their special night too!!! SO SWEET!!! We were surrounded by couples in Love and it was so so romantic...i got to meet a couple of girl friends who dragged their men out too what was their umpteenth show...these girls were actually on the first row at the today show!!! so i guess they were what you might call Michael's Groupies!!! they were hilarious!!! and their poor boyfriends LOL :) HEHEHEHEHEHE!!! OK so anyway here are the pics!!!! enjoy the slide show...IF you have never heard michael sing...Enjoy one of his songs (one of my favorites) OH he also introduced a new (oldie) called "stardust" I first heard this sung by nat king cole!!! but i enjoyed the new version!!!!!

5 Things I am Thankful For
I had to stop and think today about how truly blessed I am! I am going to try and start doing this everyday on my blog and I encourage others to do this as well!!! 5 thing I am thankful for in no particular order! They will be different and sometimes the same each day! One awesome thing i got from oprah!
1. a huge lot of beautiful, godly women in my life that i call friends....I never dreamed i would have so many and I am so thankful for each and everyone of you! From the oldest friends to the newest!!! you mean the world to me!
2. My Husbands Calling, It can be such a heavy burden to share with him, but so rewarding and fullfilling to see the work of God being done in so many lives through my husbands obedience to God's calling and trust in an amazing, powerful and real God! See by your fruit the bible says, you shall know them!!! WOW...I have seen so many lives changed for the sake of christ and families turned around because of Jesus in the past year then in my whole life!!!! Amazing!!! I am so thankful for Shane's obedience in his calling!!! It humbles me what God can do and Has done with a simple "very simple", but very huge vision to see unchurched come to church and to see life change!!!
3. My Adorable and Beautiful Children!!! they are so precious and beautiful and I am so blessed to have 3 children to teach Jesus to!
4. This is simple but, My Washer and Dryer :) I know that sound super sillly, but i have been without one a lot of times and God has blessed me with a really neat washer and dryer set that is off the charts awesome and I am so thankful for them!
5. A nice, clean (it's clean now caley), big, warm in the winter, cool in the summer and just right in fall and spring house to live in!

Gracie's New Bike
Gracie turned 5 September 20th and Had a cute Princess Party here at home...She got dolls, drawing stuff and some accessories for her bitty baby and bitty twins but her favorite present is her new bike from meme and popee! it is so cute! She Loves it!
