The Family Stone: Our Summer Vacations 2012

Our summer has been amazing! It started off June 7 through June 12 with a week long trip to celebrate the last Star Wars weekend for 2012 at Disney World. We had the best trip ever. But, of course I blogged about it a few blogs down :)!

After coming home on June 12 Shane and I packed up again and left home for Atlanta for the Gavin Degraw concert. Shane surprised me with a meet and greet with Gavin Degraw, one of my favorite singers.

Shane and I came back home just long enough for me to get our family packed up for our almost 2 week adventure on the west coast from June 19 - June 28. We visited San Francisco and saw the most crooked street in America (Lombard Street).

We saw Alamo square where the beginning of Full House was taped.

We visited the Walt Disney Museum

We took a Sail boat under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz.

To top the sail boat trip off, the captain allowed Hannah to sail the boat and let Gracie and Hayden sit in his captain's chair :)!

We saw the coolest museum at Fisherman's Wharf and took a stroll in the Aquarium of the Pacific where the kids saw a cool hurricane of Fish!

We rode the famous Cable Cars (Which were scary)!

Watched the waves crash on the rocks below the Golden Gate Bridge at Fort Point a great spot for a photo opportunity.

We visited Big Basin State Park in Boulder City California. The Coastal Red Woods towered majestically above us and the mere size of their enormous trunks were breath taking.

We stopped by Macintosh Headquarters

And Stopped by Candlestick Park where the famous 49ers Play

After spending several days exploring the Northern California Coast around San Francisco we drove 7 1/2 hours through the beautiful California Farm Country down to Anaheim and Spent the remainder of our time in Disney Land Resorts. Our First Stop? Disney's California Adventure to See Car's Land! Its even better in person than it is in the advertisements!
